Did you connect a full size keyboard to test this? I did not - didn't realize that's what your parenthetical comment implied. Let me give it a go. In the meantime, any ways around it on the straight keyboard? Connecting a full size keyboard doesn't answer the question as asked: This onscreen keyboard has all of the keys you need including Print Screen. The on-screen keyboard covers half of the screen?
How do I press PrtScrn on the on-screen keyboard without actually having the on-screen keyboard visible? You can move the on-screen keyboard pretty far off to the left. Not ideal, but you can probably grab whatever you are trying to grab.

You will even hear the sound of the camera shutter going off to confirm that you've captured the screenshot. Take a picture of a rectangular portion of your screen. Take a picture of one window. Then, move the camera around with your mouse until you've chosen the screen you want -- it will become faded. Open the screen capture on your desktop. Just double-click on the file to open it.
If you'd like to save your screenshots to the clipboard instead of to a permanent file, just press Control along with the other functions the next time you take a screenshot. Print the screenshot optional.
