I find that the 1TB has plenty of space for thousands of images, weighs much less that their 2TB, and is much thinner as well. I have had better luck with WD reliability than with other more expensive brands.

I am a professional photographer, so reliability is crucial. Date published: Got the item loaded the software and everything is working fine.
