Extreme 3d pro joystick mac

I would recommend the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro to anyone as an excellent entry level joy stick. A solid feel with the joystick.

Numerous buttons and a good layout for use. Z axis. Throttle is loose making finer control hard. Great for the price. Responds quickly put not mushy. A Z axis is great for spinning in dogfights in crazy manuevers. And the Logitech software is pretty easy to map preferred keys. My only complaint is the throttle. It's pretty loose and shifts quickly which I don't like, as I prefer a more feedback feeling for fine control. ThIs seems like an ideal flight stick for someone getting into flight sims and for a while, it was. I was actually fairly convinced that the first one I lost was due to neglect, until the second one started rolling my ships a month out of the box.

I do not recommend this stick. You are better off spending more on a higher quality stick. Don't know. Inexpensive, I guess. Aside from it being DOA, I didn't get to use it. Giving 1 Egg because it makes you put at least one. Unboxed, plugged in, opened Windows game controller properties to calibrate it and found the X axis was stuck hard left. Everything else worked fine, so I rebooted, retried. Same result.

Tried it in Elite: Dangerous and it confirmed I was in a hard left roll. Talked to a friend I game with who purchased exact same joystick 3 days ago from another retailer.

Similar issue. Unusable out of the box. Called Newegg and asked for a refund. I'm done with Logitech. They used to be a quality brand and I've had many, many Logitech products grace my desktop over the years, but lately, it seems that they're only interested in putting quality into their high-dollar products. If that's your thing, cool, have fun.

When I open the game the joystick does not work. Am I missing something? Do I need to download some sort of joystick mapper or configuration?

Posted May 24, I really hope you already got in contact with gog support. My guess is that Boxer has a problem to recognize your joystick correctly. Unfortunately GOG uses the standalone version of Boxer which has no option to configure the joystick, in that version Boxer automatically choose a joystick preset. Only the normal version of Boxer has also some options to change joystick presets.

What you can try now is to run the game by using the original Boxer-version, which is kind of tricky. To do so download and drop the Boxer.
