What you want to do is setup Odd and Even page footers. The "Even" numbered page is the left hand page and the "Odd" numbered page is on the right. So after setting up the odd and even page footer, which is as easy as checking the box that is labeled for that purpose you want to go to the Even page footer and enter your Page entry on a left justified paragraph and then on the the Odd page footer you want to enter the Page entry in a right justified paragraph.
