I did try and 'add' it as you suggest above but a box appears saying 'An error occurred while trying to add the selected printer'. I just tried scanning from the wireless printer and sending something to my Mac which works fine, it just doesn't seem to want to recognise the printer and send info the other way? I've exhausted my knowledge - I have a Canon all-in-one and it continues to work just fine.

Apple put out a rather large HP drivers patch not too long ago. Both via USB and network access. And that a rather old printer too, but is great for color prints.
