If you're just here for the solution, skip this paragraph Hey, I've been using GeForce Now for a very long time now and it's been cool to see how far along the service has come. However, the issue with having your microphone being hard muted by the GeForce Now client has been going on for a long time.

Mic not working since last update Wednesday

I first found out when the Discord muting sound would play whenever I launched a game through GeForce Now. I see most people have the problem of their microphone not working in Fortnite, but in my experience, this happens in every game that I launch through the client i. Overwatch, Far Cry 5, CS: GO, and yes Fortnite. The set up will detect problems, continue through and click "Cortana can't hear me," then click on "Set up microphone.

You can go ahead and test it there, or you can just press cancel as the set up would have already done its job. Anyway, then it should be fixed! Hope this helps! No one has replied to emails yet after nearly 3 days. I have a similar issue. My friends can hear me in game chat but I cant hear any of them and its just me not happening to any of my friends this is also resulted from doing the recent update. I have verified game files. Devs still haven't addressed this issue what so ever.

I have seen a few people reporting this problem. While I check on that, I'm going to move your post to the hardware support section and hopefully that will get you some more answers. I'm sorry about the back and forth that CS puts you through.
