In the viral clip, filmed at Hot Taco Restaurant in Detroit, Michigan, bewildered onlookers watch as three customers throw punches at each other and fall injured on the floor. The incident on Friday, July 13, allegedly started when a man wearing a red t-shirt and cap walked into the restaurant and headed straight to the front of the queue.

Despite repeatedly being hit and told to go to the back of the queue, the line cutter keeps returning to the front to order his taco. It is claimed that both the Hot Taco staff and customers informed the man not to jump the queue but he refused to move. It was at this point that another male customer, who was dressed in a white t-shirt, became angry and confronted the offending man who had cut the line. The video shows the fight that consequently broke out between the pair.

The footage begins by showing the furious customer grabbing the queue-jumping male by his throat and violently slamming him into the wall behind him. The upset customer throws another blow at the man in the red t-shirt before another female briefly manages to restrain him. However, the two men start exchanging fierce words with each other again when the man refuses to give up his place at the front of the queue. The furious customer then violently slaps the offending man over the head and he falls to his knees. The red t-shirt wearing male briefly gets up to his feet and attempt to retaliate back with a punch.

However, as he tries to do so, he throws another blow and the man falls to the floor as onlookers scream in horror. The furious customer is seen violently slaps the offending man over the head causing him to fall to his knees. The man in the red shirt falls to the ground after being hit in the brawl which broke out on Friday, July The man gets up again and the angry customer shouts at him, pleading with him to move to the back of the queue. The furious man yells: You came here after me bro! You came here after me.

However the man in the red t-shirt doesn't care and goes straight to the front of the line to order a taco. It is at this point that another angry male customer in blue shorts intervenes in the brawl. He grabs the offending man by his red t-shirt and forcibly drags him away counter. The two furious customers join forces and push the man away on to the crowds of onlookers.

However the offending male manages to escape their grasp when restaurant security gets involved and break the fight up. The man in the white t-shirt tells the security that the offending customer jumped the queue. He tells him 'He came after us bro! The unbothered man in the red t-shirt ignores the squabble and heads straight to the front of the line again. The video then cuts to a close. It is believed that security staff ordered all customers involved in the brawl to leave the restaurant following the incident.

Lee said he decided to share the story to inspire other Asian-Americans to speak up against racism.

At this point, Lee says several other people in the restaurant started speaking up to defend him - which Lee says led the cashier and manager 'to apologize and finally admit that they were in the wrong. He said the point of speaking out was never to get the employee fired. In fact, he doesn't agree with the restaurant's decision to do such, and never named the employee on purpose.
