The actual lipper comes in a matte black bullet with black cap which is round at the top the lipstick looks like a gun bullet to me lol. The cap of it closes with a click which ensures it to be travel friendly. I always carry Mac Taupe lipstick with me in my handbag and it has not troubled me. Overall the packaging is standard nothing to get excited for, but it is definitely very sturdy. The texture of this Mac Retro Matte lipstick is very matte as well as quite dry.

A long-wearing Lipstick formula with intense colour payoff and a completely matte finish.

It feels very dry and does not spread easily on my lips. In fact, it tugs your lips while applying and it needs to be applied with a little pressure. It does not glide on smoothly, though I am not complaining about it as it is a retro matte lipstick. But they are not this drying like All fired up.

When I wear it without a lip balm, it accentuates dry patches and crumbles on lips from between. But according to me, it is more like a bright reddish pink shade. It will suit every skin tone amazingly. But it is not an everyday wear shade as it is very bright. I do not like its texture, its just because the pretty shade I wear this.
