You MUST be using thunderbolt If you have update to the new intel version, go to programs and uninstall the latest update and reinstall It took longer trying to find a copy of It no longer seems to be on Intel's website. I was able to find a copy on Dell's website that worked.

Trying driving an external monitor only, with hotplug method so no H2D degradation - on the short cable. I still only get 11XX MiBs. I updated to the 1. The H2D from what I can tell has marginal impact plus you loose all USB functionality other than if you're not doing anything intense. Can you also report what H2D bandwidth you are getting on the nonH2D firmware? I've tried the short cable in the box, as well as a long Cable Matters 2M one which would be reduced bandwidth.
