When the print head starts to go, we get white lines down the barcodes. Then after a while nothing. Zebra printers can print a configuration page by use of the button on the top of the printer. Each flash sequence performs a different function.

On ours, the single flash will print the config page. Try that. If nothing prints, you know the issue is not software. Since the thermal head deteriorates over time, it is necessary to adjust the "darkness" setting on the printer.

This actually controls the temperature of the print head. This setting can be accessed through the windows print driver under "Printer Defaults". The higher the number, the hotter the head.

You want to set this as low as possible while still getting acceptable print quality. The hotter the setting, the faster the head deteriorates.
