The instore colour matching experience was fantastic! Im not a big fan of visiting the beauty counters at David Jones or Myers as I often leave with products shades too dark for my skin and generally feel uncomfortable with the levels of customer service. However this time round I actually felt like I was chatting with a friend or a favourite cousin.

She listened to what were my preferences, skin type etc and did an excellent job of choosing the right shade for me! After she had removed my makeup and reapplied the MAC BB cream was very happy with the final results! The product come in an easy to use squeeze tube with a felt like finish for the cap. I applied the product with the MAC Large Angled countour brush and loved the feel of the product and how moist it was. This made it easy to spread easily over the skin surface and it dried to a soft glow finish.

The fragrance is nothing special but not too strong which I liked. Love how light it felt on my skin while still providing me with ample coverage on the areas that needed it. I could build the coverage in areas that needed it without it looking splotchy or uneven. It evened out my skin tone and give my skin a natural,healthy glow!

The high SPF35 is points in the products favour again! Especially in the hot summer sun, happy to use a product that lets my skin breathe, protects it from the harsh suns rays as well as gives me decent coverage! It stayed on beautifully all day long too! Certainly the best BB cream I've ever used! I absolutely love this BB cream.

It is my everyday go to product that I can just use without any hassle. I apply the product with my real techniques expert face brush or my hands. The finish of the BB cream is a satin finish that does not require powder due to the finish. The cream provides a perfect, light coverage which does not feel heavy on the skin. I was really excited to try this new BB cream that everyone was raving about in their Beautyheaven reviews. The MAC sales lady assisted me and we both decided that the medium to dark shade was my best match for my Asian skin. When i first applied it, i was pleased how it is easy to blend it all over my face creating an even toned, dewy natural complexion without looking too made up.

It has no strong scent and does not irritate my skin. The only drawback is the high price tag, though the big tube will go a long long way.. The SPF 35 is a great bonus as well. I like a natural look and dont like wearing heavy foundation so this is already a winner. Light and fluid, it applies best with a duo fibre brush. You do need to blend it well so you dont see streaks.

You can apply it with clean fingers, however I actually prefer using a brush which isnt like me at all. I do feel it needs to be set with powder as it does have a dewy finish and if I didnt I would end up with very shiny skin by the end of the day and I have dry skin. I dont find that the colour matches so well with my skin as compared to other MAC products, but it was worth trying it out. I generally look for the palest cool-toned shade when it comes to colour-matching my face, so for the MAC BB cream I picked up the shade "Extra Light". The shade range is better than any other BB cream I've tried previously.

I find that it's best applied with clean fingers or a buffing brush definitely not a beauty blender! I haven't found a primer that I like to use with it yet, and I found it hard to blend over a mattifying primer, but it still applies nicely on clean skin. I use a light dusting of translucent powder over the top to set it, which I think improves the texture by taking it from slightly sticky-looking to luminous, and helps the staying power a great deal. I was very surprised that the coverage was so good, easily evening out my skin tone without looking heavy or cakey. I have combination, acne-prone skin with some redness and pigmentation, so this is important for me.

I don't use this product every day, but it's the first thing I pick up when I either want to apply a quick face, or when I want to go for a more fresh-looking face. I also love the packaging. It comes in a very pretty sparkly box, and the tube is sleek and easy to use. I really love this product.

I was a little worried about buying this as I like my makeup to look as natural as possible. I brought this hoping it would be really light and just blend into my skin, which it does exactly! It has a very light but still build able coverage.

I think that it's the best product I have ever bought! I'm also a very lazy person so I love how I can just whack this on my face and not have to really blend it or wait for it to dry. After I've had a shower in the morning I moisturise my whole face first and under the eyes. I love it for so many reasons. It has a high SPF which is incredibly important if you live in Australia. Wearing an SPF everyday under your makeup is definitely a must! Especially when you have quite pale skin like mine.

It is a fantastic moisturiser. Since using this product my skin has felt more soft and it looks more even in tone. It has to be one of the best Primer's I've ever used. I'm prone to getting a bit of a shiny forehead throughout the day so I'm constantly patting it away. I've noticed that with using the BB I get hardly any shine at all. On a more lazy makeup day I would just use this BB with a bit of concealer and powder but for a night out I wouldn't use it on its own, but more as a primer under my makeup. It really does it all and feels fantastic on the skin! It is a pity that I only use the product 4days prior to written the review, however, I found that the product remove easily with water.

Not very oily as other product of bb cream I had use eg, Biotherm white detox BB cream. Colour easy to applied and fit onto my skin well. My skin felt breathable, smooth and not overly hydrate as compact. I was sent this cream to trial by the generous Beautyheaven girls. I went to the David Jones store in Sydney andhad the usual exceptional service. Wow is all I can say, the cream just glided on and gave me a flawless complexion.

I have good skin so I only need a small amount tfor application which means the cream will go a long way. The end result was a dewy and glowing finish to my complexion with about kedium coverage. My husband liked it and he hardly comments on makeup. The first time I wore it to work, y colleagues thought I looked like I had just come back from holiday as my skin was glowing. I did not have dry patches through the day and would definitely buy this cream again.

I like using it over the BB compact cream for a heavier coverage and evening look. I am a satisfied customer and would recommend to anyone with oily combination skin. I mentioned I wanted a more matte look due to my oily skin, and the application of the compact seemed that it would be best for me. I'm so glad I got the chance to trial out the tube as well, as between the two, it turns out I prefer it more to the compact. The colour is closer to my skin colour than that of the compact and gives enough coverage for a day to day look while still looking natural. I applied a primer prior to applying the BB tube and it went on very smoothly afterwards. The BB was easy to blend into my skin as well, very lightweight, and it quickly evened out my complexion and gave it a fresh glowy look especially across my cheeks, without it looking or feeling like I had a full face of makeup on.

And it didn't turn my skin oily as the day wore on - initially I thought it might as it applied on so smoothly, especially compared to some other BB creams and the MAC BB compact which are a bit thicker in nature, but it remained fresh looking for at least 6 hours. I love this product - I've only got the chance to try it twice since receiving it for the trial but so far it's one of those products I feel confident wearing.

It just looks so natural yet gives me the comfort of knowing I've made some effort in covering up the imperfections! As part of the trial team, we were asked to go in-store for a personalised colour match at a MAC store in David Jones. I really appreciate this approach as it allowed us to get base product that actually match our skin tone, rather than guessing from colour swatches we find on Google or bad colour brochures from product advertising material!

The SA from the city Melbourne store told me that MAC has expanded their colour offerings in their BB cream range and she tried two shades on my face - medium and medium plus, both match well with medium plus more aligned to my slightly darker summer skin. I was also offered to do a full face make-over but as I was doing this in my lunch hour, I decided to just stick with the much shorter colour match and head back to work.

The BB cream is cream-gel in texture and great when used with fingers alone but when used with the contoured MAC brush to buff the product in, you can achieve a second skin finish. It provides light natural coverage which on good skin days where there are no break outs and fresh acne scars to hide , does a beautiful job of evening out the skin tone to give an even complexion on it's own.

On days where I need extra coverage, I topped it up with a few dots of foundation on the problem area and use the brush to buff it into skin and blend out any streaky marks. I like that this BB cream is fragrance free and does not oxidise on skin so you don't get a orange face after a few hours as well as providing SPF 35 protection. Because of the lighter coverage, it does not settle on fine lines or accentuate large pores, a blessing for me around the nose and cheek areas.

I love the hydrated feeling it provides to normal skin and on my combination oily skin- providing a semi dewy finish which I quite like as it helps to keep skin moisturised but not so much that you look like shiny - something that my skin type is very prone to. On hot humid days, it does oil up a bit after 3 hours and I would recommend blotting paper to keep the shine in check.

The compact can provides slightly thicker coverage as it is a cream product but when buffed out with the brush, gives the same light natural coverage. I did find the compact finish slightly more dewy or oily looking on my skin, especially after an hour of wear, so prefer the tube version,.

I would have given it 5 stars had it provided slighter stronger coverage as I think BB creams should as they can be sheered out with additional buffing. I've tried a few different BB creams in the past and usually been disappointed by the finish. After a few hours they have usually rubbed away to nothing and left my skin bare. What a surprise to try MAC! They have have nailed it!!! This cream glided on and blended very easily and the colour, Light on my pale skin matched a treat. For those that love a dewy finish this product is a must.

It felt and looked great enough for my boyfriend to comment I look glowing. A touch of powder and this set perfectly for the whole day. I haven't had a lot of luck with BB creams in the past. You are usually only give the option of light, medium or dark - I tend to opt for medium and nearly always end up orange.

I believe that there are a choice of 7 different colours so the chances of finding one that matches well is much higher. I went into a store to get colour matched and they did half my face in the beauty balm and half my face in the compact. I much preferred the feel of the balm. It honestly didn't feel like I was wearing anything more than a mousturiser. Colour wise the match was great. My face is lighter than my body so we decided to colour match closer to my body.

When the makeup artist applied it with a brush it was near invisible. It blended into my skin that well. Although I was sent a brush as part of the trial I mostly applied it using my fingers and this did leave it looking a little tiny but streaky - although that was only up close in the mirror. If you stepped back it just left my skin looking even and luminous.

I have normal to oily skin and found it moisturizing enough to use on its own. I loved the fact that it had SPF Upon application it left my skin with a healthy looking sheen. I really liked the finish of it. I found that it lasted well throughout the day. It didn't transfer into my clothes or children! The coverage was medium - I could still see my natural skin underneath but it became more even.

I liked the label of coverage as it didn't leave my skin looking like it was caked with foundation - just even and natural. I wore it on its own without makeup and it looked fine - just like my natural, now perfect, skin!

I had one blemish during the trial period and it totally disguised the redness of it. I am really happy with this BB. In fact it is the best BB that I have tried so far. Like all MAC products, you can easily control how much coverage you want which is great if your skin needs a bit of help but not a full on body cast.

Overall I love the higher SPF and the coverage. April 7, , 8: I love the way this product feels and the consistency is perfect- not as oil based as most. On days that I don't really feel like wearing makeup but still want to look presentable, I just throw some of this all over my face and I look like a normal human again lol. I really like this product! I live in an extremely hot place and it holds up well. I also really like the coverage it provides, and in my opinion it is not heavy. What other mac products do you recommend? Matte lipsticks. Those are my go to lipsticks for sure! Personally I don't care what people say about any product and I pretty much do what I think looks best. So if you think you get decent coverage with this Baby and you don't want the extra step the. Skip it. My personal opinion is if the house your face doesn't have a good foundation glasslike-smooth finish to start with then the house your face always runs the risk of cracking or breaking down.
