It is not user friendly. There is no menu for booked tickets, cancelled tickets , refunds etc as in the old version. Please revert back to the old version. I booked a ticket a month before and keep trying to cancel it for the last few days unsuccessfully. You can't even enter into your own login to cancel it.

Alternatively instead of book your ticket the home page shall have login as the first step.

Unable to find the cancellation page, no customer service number available. I am trying to view MY Transactions in my Account. Perhaps Railway wanted Public Money through the system. Hopless site. I am keep on trying to cancel my E ticket all in Vain. Raily spending Money to Up grade this new system which is freindly for Railways not for Public. Go back to old system. Can't even log in. It repeatedly asks for user to sign in again and again. R P shivkumar today i tried to download a ticket i had booked in june for 2nd sept trip but found it very difficult as there was no provision for booked ticket history and some how i located PNR no and took a screenshot of the booked ticket and saved it as there is no provision for printing tickets.
Also i did not get a mail for the return ticket though i had a mail for the original journey. It is better to take a printout to be on the safer side as you do not have any proof or journey details if your mobile data is deleted. K Yesterday I booked a ticket through this new website. Can some one from New Indian express start a petition in change. How to Login? I do not know whether anybody in the Railways will ever respond to such common man's real and serious problem. I was not able to find out the status of PNR. Since independant login for ticket status is not possible in this version, I am not finding any advantage on this Beta version.

The new site is not customer centric, but is only IRCTC centric by allowing nuisance ads and revenue. Prash older version much better and reliable. When I booked today it asked unwanted questions before login. Any way this new site is not at all user friendly or faster. Nikita I was also facing the issue related to booked tickets history. Those who are not able to check their booked history can download the irctc app. Login with you email and password. Then click on my transaction. You will be able to access the information. The old site was so useful and user friendly. With the new site, there is no provision to open with the account id and password and no scope to see the past history.
First time when the sms was not received I thought it was a mistake of the system. But on my second booking today, i face the same problem. No sms. How do i go to the page where i have an option to press the sms button. I can't understand this new site and its function. Please go back to the old version or make this user friendly.

It has become a joke. The site has got a modern and sophisticated look, but it is hardly user friendly. What is the point if registered users are given last preference, and accesibility to their transactions has to go through a round about way. When highest screen resolution is chosen only then option of login comes. Their intention could be to build a adaptive UI for all sort of devices or they purposefully want to prevent users from logging in to reduce sessions at server end or this is by bad UX design.
