Mac mini 2012 i7 lightroom

Pretty sweet. And this is with a very old, very slow 2. With an SSD, it should improve I guess Guess if I want to pursue this, I should get a recommended mackintosh Gigabyte board. I haven't found any mackintosh builds with my Asrock Z97 Fatality Professional.

Updates always had to be researched thoroughly beforehand with full installs on secondary hard drives if they didn't go as planned and kernal panics would always happen at the worst moments. In the end I ended up buying a Mini and doing exactly what you are thinking of with the HD and ram upgrade.

I ran out of time to play on the computer and just needed it to work. I think either will do fine. Maybe not blazingly fast but not disturbingly slow either.

The only thing I question in your builds is the fact that I assume the is a new machine and the is a used unit.
