Fake mac brushes any good
Today I'm finally going to do a long awaited review that I've been wanting to do!
Alma Bunny: Fake MAC Brushes Review
Let's get started! When I received this in the mail, I found the brushes inside the case, exactly like this. The large face brushes came with plastic protecters that I have already lost oops! In the case you can see 4 pockets: Here is the infamous fake MAC logo. You can tell the difference because of the "M" where there is a much more prominent space in the middle of it, vs.
You will be seeing this in more pictures, showing that these are obviously fake. Just like real MAC brushes, none of which I have and don't intend on, these each have a specific number for each model of brushes. Unlike the real brushes, though, are the brushes themselves. I gathered some pictures from Google and compiled pictures of the real brushes to show you how they should look like and what the fake brushes do look like.
The top image is exactly identical to the image at the bottom as far as numbering. You can see the difference of brushes here. Some look absolutely nothing alike, some a little more similar. The area where the question mark is was supposed to be the " " but I found out that either there is no such thing or it is a discontinued brush. Thus, I could not find the image of it. With the face brushes, you can see a lot of similarities and differences too. The area with the question mark is supposed to be the " ". This is actually a discontinued brush so I was unable to find a good image for it.
The one I received was designed like a regular brush.

It's extremely soft with dark brown bristles. It's very soft with bristles similar to the " " brush I received. I actually really like this brush. The bristles are extremely soft.
Are Your MAC Brushes Authentic?
I love white bristles, which this has, and it is so extremely soft. One of the softest brushes I have! I'm honestly not too sure what I would do with this one. There isn't much that this brush can't do. It is however a little plasticy and could be denser.
I've had no shedding using this, and overall its useful to have. It gives a very light and soft application of powder and is so versatile, you can use the edges and tip to apply tiny amounts of powder to the eye area, or you can use the whole of the brush to sweep powder over the face. Its soft and dense, but I've found it sheds a lot on application.
I Tried Cheap Versus Expensive Makeup Brushes & This Is What Happened
The size of the brush is nice and fits into the hollow of your cheek bones nicely. The rounded edge is good for getting in corners around your nose and blending near the hairline. I know I wont use this all the time but its nice to have it. It's soft with dark brown bristles, that can pack on colour with definition.
It packs on colour, blends out colour, can be used for highlighting, defining the crease, getting into my inner eye area, and use it on your lower lashline to add a hint of colour. Its great for precise concealer application, gel eye liner, brow powder, high lighting in the inner corners of the eyes, and detailed shadow application.
So, here are the small details that will warn you not buy them. MAC brushes have 2 round, metallic circles somewhere in the middle of the brush. Another thing, that is part of the obvious things which can tell you that the MAC brush you want to buy is not real, is its density.
MAC brushes are not just a random name that people buy because everybody else does. MAC brushes have great quality, which one could tell just by seeing the brush bristles. They are so many and so fluffy, that when compared to a fake brush, it will just blow it away, especially when we talk about blush brushes. All you have to pay attention to, except from the density of the bristles, is how are they attached to the brush.
So, we already mentioned that the color of the brush is metallic, or at least that half of the brush which ends with the bristles. As you can see on the picture the end, which holds the bristles has an angle. The more ostensible the angle is, the stronger it will hold the bristles. Something that a fake brush does not have. As you can see in the picture where the fake and real brushes are compared, you will notice that the space between the signature M of MAC is actually smaller on the fake brush.
It is something that a person would definitely fail to notice unless, they are not searching for it.
