Everything seems to work, but there's no text in the buttons, cutscenes or anywhere else.

This makes the game basically unplayable -- quick, what resource do I need to advance my civilization to the next age?! Can anyone out there with a full version of the game let me know if this works OK on their Snow Leopard machine? I installed the demo on a new macbook pro, and have the exact same issue.
