Well after hours of trying to install the Canon MP driver on her Mac book with snow leopard I finally figured it out!! I successfully had installed this driver on my MBP months ago, but couldn't remember exactly how I did it. It took me hours the first time as it doesn't work as it's supposed to.
The secret?? Go to your printer and fax settings in preferences. Make sure the printer is on 4.
