Samsung se 208gb rsbd mac

I bought this optical DVD writer for my daughter and she has lost the manual and software that came with it so unfortunately I can't swop it. Just wanted to load ms office for mac that I have the disks for. I have assumed I need drivers because when I plug the Samsung kit into the mac mini USB and load any disks the drive just whirs around a bit and the mac can't read or see anything on the disks. Sorry don't understand the point you kindly took time out to make with detail you supplied in your post, i would be grateful if could you expand please.

I cannot recommend a new product that the manufacture will not honor their warranty. Newell told me to contact Samsung, and Samsung told me to Contact Newegg. Wont play movies Noisy Disconnects on its own. It wouldn't read any discs, just kept spinning. Returned to Samsung and the problem still occurred. Would've returned it, if it were in the time frame. I bought it in January and only used it a couple times to upload music to my iTunes library. Pulled it out of the box this morning and it no longer works. Also tried a different USB cable. Worked fine for importing CDs, which is the reason for buying it, for only a few weeks.

Won't stay connected to my computer long enough to import an entire CD anymore.
