Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for Mac - Download
This looks way better than a console version hands down. I also have it installed on my late macbook pro with retina and 16gb of ram, again it runs super smooth on the highest resolution. I love Black Ops the story is engaging, the action is fun, and the missions have high replay value. The downside is this game crashes every single time I play especially on the Hue City mission it either freezes outright during gameplay or crashes if my character dies.

Hopefully they can fix this issue with an update or something. The crashes reported by other users occurred frequently for me as well. Out of the 30 minutes I was trying to play today, I maybe got in about 2 minutes of actual game time after all of the movies and the crashes.
Buy another COD game or look for another shooter. Sorry you are having problems with Black Ops. First, make sure your Mac meets the minimum system requirements to play the game.
