I seldom boot into Apple OSX since I've found the few business applications ported from Microsoft are clearly inferior to their Windows releases. Parallels has crashed my system on several occasions. Mac OS on the Mac Pro was originally touted as an excellent solution for video processing.

I use the Mac Pro extensively for video processing, but all of the high end software I use is made to run exclusively under Windows. Initially it was OK, It was slow. Then slower.

I bought the next update which initially was ok, then became slow and not practical. I bought the next update for window 10, initially was ok then slow then very annoying and affected the performance of the MAC. Of Course they wanted me to get the next update. I had to put an end to that. I am happier now. You make your own decision based on your need.

I was strictly a loyal Windows User for 21 years, and was very hesitant of even getting a mac, but when I saw that it was possible to have a Mac and have windows, --That just did it for me! It is simply great! If you get this product, it will take a toll on your memory, I recommend you buy separately, 8 GB of Ram its cheap to buy and easy to self install.
