Drain and pour in a zip lock bag with the rest of the ingrediants the night before. Then pour the bag in the crock pot at around 11 am when you are ready to cook.

This sounds awesome! Your 1 fan your Mom suggested i go to your site for supper suggestions. Oh this looks like a must try. All Clad one from Williams Sonoma! I just need to remember to buy the brick of Velveeta and I will be set. Might be great for NYE.

I found your recipe while looking for a crockpot mac and cheese recipe for a family christmas get-together. This was perfect! Thank you! Thank you so much for this recipe. My search has ended! Best of all, easy. You know, macaroni and cheese is in my culture. Hehe…Thanks for the tip Lisa Marie. I say add some cut up hot dogs just like when I grew up. I have not tried to used munster in this recipe. I have however subsitiuted bleu cheese or a milder cheddar. I would think munster might work well, but expect the dish to have a smokie taste to it.

I want! The ribs were pretty good, too. What would happen if I substituted the Velveeta for say, muenster? Would it get the same consistency? Now I regret using my velveeta for queso dip yesterday. Your mac and cheese looks and sounds amazing. I also clicked over to your ribs and they are calling my name — delicious! This would definately get eaten first at my house. I have a renewed appreciation for my slow cooker so this is one of the first recipes to try this week.

I was raised on this stuff! They and my Hubby like the box stuff, yuck! I am trying and loven all your recipes!! In fact, every year I make it and take to friends house the day before Thanksgiving. The kids have a half-day and so we eat lunch together and the mom there makes me Pumpkin Roll! I am going to get her to do it soon so I can post it soon! This mac and cheese definitely seems to appeal to moms, I dont know why kids and husbands insist on that boxed stuff when they can have this!

Would you please send it to me or is it posted anythere. I am going to try making your version of macaroni and cheese.

Loved the pictures to assist with the directions. Looks delicious. I have tried many different recipes and most of them come out grainy and on the dry side for me, but yours looks yummy! Its been a loooooooooooooooooong sleep deprived week! Hmmm…maybe a shower and a nights sleep are in order. Gratefully, Christy. I love mac and cheese and this recipe looks wonderful! I have no idea how my kids can stand the boxed stuff either!

Wow, that looks divine! Or some sort of veggie?

BTW Christy. I meant to tell you I saw your column in the News Courier today. Love the apple dapple cake! Look forward to reading it each week. This looks so good. I have never baked my mac n cheese, but have had it at countless pot lucks and have wondered how to make it. I love mac and cheese, but mine is a bit hit or miss — sometimes really creamy and other times really dry. Am looking forward to trying your recipe. Am really enjoying your e-mails and the wonderful inspirational dishes.
