Make sure your booting sequence is set to boot from USB drive first. Reboot your hackintosh with the USB drive attached. Now, remember what we learned about boot flags? Luckily, tonymacx86 has already defined a couple of them, so be sure to use the ones applicable for your hardware configuration. Additionally, you can boot with —v alongside the other boot flags to see where the installer loading stops or causes a problem, and you may also use the —x bootflag for booting in safe mode.

Note down the boot flags that work for you. The simplest way is to download the Application from the Mac App Store. STEP 2: Take a deep breath and take your time- this is pretty simple, but it's easy to miss things if you rush. Follow each step to the letter.

Insert USB drive. Click Partition tab.

Click Options Choose Master Boot Record. Under Name: Click Apply then Partition.

If using a laptop, choose Laptop Support in addition to one of the above options. The process will take about minutes, depending on system and drive speed, but will show hours. Do not unplug or stop during this time. You're almost done!
