Word 2011 always opens with Final Showing Markup view

Please close this window and re-enter a valid email. Editor Comments Word for Mac: Track Changes Word Editor Comments Word I have to embed this Word doc on a website for a portfolio, and I really don't want anything but the final version to show. Oct 8, I'm in more or less the same pickle as JCL writing on July 19, I've tried everything but each time I open the document all the markups are back.

Microsoft Track Changes — Word (Mac)

I don't know if all versions of Word look similar. I'm using Word for Mac In the menu bar at the top of your document you have Home, Layout etc. The one on the right is Review. Click on Review.

Microsoft Track Changes — Word for Mac (2011)

Under "Changes", I was told there was an Accept All icon or such but I only found a way to Accept each individual markup one at a time. I just rapid-fire clicked on that little Accept icon until I had gotten rid of all the markups, greyed-out words etc. Then I saved the doc and lo and behold they were all gone the next times I opened it. I think I also did a Save As first so I don't know if that mattered or not. Oct 22, 2: I tried all those solutions and still it seems to want to open up showing the blinkin' markup.

Really irritating, but thanks so much for taking the time to email me, I appreciate it. Oct 22, 3: That's surprising.

It's now worked several times for me. Oct 22, Yep, I did. But I will admit that I am distinctly sub-par at the moment with a rotten cold, so my mental acuity isn't what it ought to be.
