Grand theft auto mac controls
Here it gets really dodgy, because it actually doesn't work properly EVER. You need to choose how big your Windows drive should be.
Controls for GTA San Andreas
To calculate the size: Windows needs about 20 GB to function, then you need some space for your game. To make it performant I rounded it up to GB. But it depends on how big your games are etc. Skyrim e. So you'd need only 30 to 40 GB probably. The reason I said this is dodgy is because it'll probably fail. You'll see this amazingly descript error probably like me and my friends did:. It took me days to figure out how to fix it. But it comes down to this: It helps to just put stuff on an external hard drive while you're setting up Boot Camp, you can put it back after.
The non-blue stuff on Macintosh HD is my free space, not enough obviously. So if you have GB drive, get GB free. At GB, GB free.
Are you using K & M for GTA V or Gamepad
At 1 TB, GB free. You get it. Even after clearing all that space, Boot Camp will probably still whine and fail again, like it did for me. That's because it'll run into some weird errors on your drive. Those weird errors are because off, well, I have no fucking clue. But they're there. How to fix this? Well you open Disk Utility. Click "Verify Disk" and it'll check your disk. This might take awhile. I got this crazy scary error. If you didn't get that and it's verified, then just skip this part. I was like "wait WHAT? My SSD drive was broken?
Why did nobody tell me! There I opened Disk Utility in there to verify my disk. If your disk is encrypted like mine, you need to unlock it first by right-clicking the disk, selecting Unlock and entering your password. Then I verified it again, repaired everything and it worked fine. There were no errors.
Odd right? Who cares! Because after this it worked. Complete XInput support, so pads are mapped to match console versions perfectly including Start button, which can't be mapped on PC version without this modification.

The button is fully functional and can show your Steam Overlay menu if you launched the game via Steam! Cheats input from the pad. Use classic PS2 cheats on PC! The modification can be downloaded from my blog: Playing the first mission with Dualshock 3 pad: SBRKs 4 Feb 4: I'm confused, yesterday I installed the mod and it worked like a charm. Today I reinstalled Windows and tried playing again, and it does not work. I'm using an Xbox One controller btw. AmethystViper 2 Feb 8: I also ran into a tutorial prompt that referenced a keyboard control only instead of the controller.
DerbinKlamz 27 Dec, 6: AmethystViper 17 Nov, You can't remap the buttons but there are presets from the console version's alternative controls you can use along with one from GTA IV as a more modernized control style e. You need to open up GInput. I suggest using them both. You can now aim freely with one button and shoot with another. I can't remember if I had to change a setting to get it to do that though. That was very frustrating on the older gen. It has seamless switching. So I use both. I finished the SP part with keyboard and mouse.
Driving was fine. The hardest part was flying. But, It's not a flight sim or anything. The flying is very simplified which works okay with keyboard and mouse. Driving this off topic for a second. Are there any worth while mods for GTAV yet? Grappling gun looks fun for a few, but that is about it.
I also recommend you look for a sweetfx mod. It doesn't affect performance at all and really makes the game look so much better. Gamepad Xbox One Controller. I'm a rebel PC gamer that breaks PC gaming society rules and plays on the couch in the loungeroom. Console kind of setup but with proper performance and all the bells and whistles on.
What you'll need
Driving has always sucked for mouse and keyboard due to it not having the degrees of pressure you have with a joystick and triggers.. You can't press down on the w key softly to change your acceleration Please Log In to post. Posted by deactivatedfeab posts 3 years, 10 months ago.
