In theory, a standardized platform like the Mac should be better optimized for gaming. Game developers are forced to consider an infinitude of hardware configuration options when optimizing and testing their products for Windows users, so PC gamers have always been plagued with technical problems simply because their unique configurations were not considered.

I'm not sure if it's particular to the m GT, which we all seem to have. I say this because i have GFX card status installed and if i force the HD video card, the game works fine. I just installed steam for my partner and I and this sucks that I can't use my discrete video card and am stuck using the HD, but it does work on that card. DL GFX card status and give it a shot. STEAM please fix this, it's happening for eveyone with this card.
