6 Good Mac Compatible Monitors for 2018
Dual screen with new Mac Mini Ask Question. We currently use dual screen on all machines in the office. I'm wanting to hook these up to the mac mini and use dual screen. The mac mini has thunderbolt and hdmi output. I've done some research and what it looks like I would need is a: Your advice or recommendations greatly appreciated.

Probably dated I know but served okay for us It'll help to specify which mac mini. You connect two monitors to a Mac Mini via two separate ports; one monitor for one port. It sounds like with both your monitors you'd like to connect via VGA. So then you'd need: Thunderbolt Mini display port to VGA adapter.

The demo modes on the monitors are made to look crystal clear and sharp, but when you plug it into you computer and display plain text some monitors can be fuzzy or blurry or even look washed out. When buying a monitor make sure you check the resolution.

Resolution is more important than monitor size. You can buy displays as big as 27 inch that have a resolution as low as x They may be bigger, but they have less dots. They simply zoom everything out to fill the screen. This is good for a display in a large space where you are some distance from the screen, but not good for close up work or things will look dotty.
