Hopefully, your disconnecting or not reconnecting issue will be gone. What you can also try is to only use one Bluetooth device at a time and see if your issue goes away. For example, if you have a Magic Mouse, go ahead and disconnect your keyboard or delete it from the Bluetooth profile altogether and then see how your mouse acts.

Does it remain connected now? If this is the case, it could be interference between the devices. Why would it start happening after upgrading to Lion and not before?
