Cream blushes you can apply with either your hand or a brush, but they do expire a bit faster since their moist texture invites bacteria. Also, extremely easy to overdue with cream blush as most of them are highly pigmented. Tints are great as they work on lips and cheeks and add a natural flush, rarely do tints look "clownish. The pigmentation is extremely poor and I had a hard time swatching it even on my finger.
