Thanks for the various pointers. The MP Drivers for network wernt then able to find my printer. Then, a moment later, it was listed again. Remove the USB, and its still there - add the wireless printer. Well after hours of trying to install the Canon MP driver on her Mac book with snow leopard I finally figured it out!!
