It is really bad. Are there any adjustments to make it visible? Thanks so much! I am fairly knew to Apple and could not understand why my URL address bar and back arrow had disappearred.
All I needed was to show toolbar. Thank you for that information. Now I can actually go to websites in which are not in my top sites page. Hi there I just updated to el captain and Safari 9. That unfortunately didn't fix it, it does show up indeed but the searchbar doesn't work. Then I had tabs and address bar.

I found out this is not only with my widescreen but on my MacBook Pro screen too. I just set it to normal and will test it a couple of days. Still have the same problem. This suggestion worked for me including still working after going back to "default". As a workaround, you can exit full screen and maximize the window manually: Click "Exit Full Screen" in the "View" menu.
