Thanks, Rebecca R. Community Moderator. Hi again Rebecca, I guess one must just be patient in this endeavour. I then successfully downloaded the Mac 3 software. I then had a bit of trouble uploading to Ancestry. Initially it would upload for a while and then stop and cancel the upload. I thought that this may have been because the upload size at nearly Mb was too big, so I separated my tree into two uploads one of These both uploaded successfully. When I tried to download the first it kicked out my Family Tree program.

Now I have two parts to my Family Tree. However it doesn't say HOW. Can you please tell me how I merge these two Family Trees into one Family tree on my computer? At present they have different FT Names just to differentiate them in my mind. I hope that you can help me again. Take care, Kindest regards, Ken.

The directions for merging two trees can be found here. Let me know if you have any issues with those steps. Are there big differences between the Windows and Mac editions? Not really. The applications are very close in functionality now, so the biggest difference is that the Mac guide has all Mac screenshots and the Windows edition has all windows screenshots.
