It took a little getting used to as all of my foundations are a higher coverage but for the summer this is perfect and will be the perfect foundation for holidays too — thank you MAC! It blends amazingly with minimal effort too with both different brushes and make-up sponges and all finishes look amazing.

It's a great, lightweight foundation with a beautiful glowy finish. I absolutely love it! One of the best foundation , light to medium coverage but you will have a beautiful skin glow all day. I have an oily skin , just touch up during the day is enough.

Agree with other reviewers. This foundation is amazing for glowy natural look with little of color. Pleasr powder your nose before leaving the house if you dont want to look like disco ball. Or apply it only on cheeks: Closest dupe- kanebo gel: I have been looking for a new foundation as my regular one was beginning to look 'cakey' and stick to my dry patches , my skin is changing following recent life changes age, surgery, weather etc and I researched and researched to find something light , comfortable and along the lines of 'less is more' I truly found it in this foundation.

I watched endless reviews and tutorials before it arrived and if you can't get along with it - you're not following the instructions! It contains a film former which you need to activate so you do really have to rub it in and it will go tacky and thicken, you can layer it and layer it some more so the bits that need extra coverage do get it without it caking. I work 10 hour shifts and it's still there when I get home. I have skin that reacts badly to many brands and not one breakout with this foundation. I'll be purchasing the big bottle when this one runs out. To summarise, comfortable on the skin, looks fab, buildable , doesn't make dry patches stand out BUT follow the instructions!

When you hear about this foundation being second skin-like, it's not an exaggeration, it forms a film on the skin that truly mimics glowing, heathy skin. It's sheer, but it can be build up. My shade C1 is spot-on for my light complexion with yellow undertones I'm usually NC20 ; but because it's so sheer it's surely quite forgiving shade-wise. Doesn't leave the skin flat looking even when worn on its own, and any make-up applied over it goes on super easy and with no patchiness whatsoever.

Make-up brushes and other products on top don't move around this foundation. There were also days when my skin was a bit flaky from tretinoin, and this wasn't accentuating it.
