Got to big to fast and now does not care about employees. A younger company with a great culture. AnnieMac Home Mortgage is a fast-paced, culture rich company that prides itself on providing exceptional customer service to its clients while encouraging collaboration between its inner departments. The environment tends to range from light and fun to heavy and stressful, depending on the time of the month as with almost all mortgage companies, our busiest time is at the end of the month.

Management supports its team members but there is not much room for professional growth as the corporate ladder is very short and most mid-to-upper level managers are not of a retirement age.

Rich culture, collaboration, room for growth into entry level management. No k match, no defined career track, not much room for internal growth at the mid-to-upper management level.

Decent place for experienced Mortgage Professionals. Laurel, NJ — November 6, As with most mortgage companies it is highly dependent on how the market is doing, there are a lot of ups and downs in the this industry. Best part about the job was the team I was on, even in the most stressful of times we found the light at the end of the tunnel. What I learned is I will go out of my way to never work in the mortgage industry again, too unstable for my likes. Also, not having a matching k in this day and age is almost unforgivable.

Fun until management changed direction.

The position was fun until the management team changed the company direction right after Christmas and had massive layoffs. Company culture is not great, pay and benefits not great, Us against them mentality is encouraged. The mission statement developed by employees is not followed, no job security.

Stressful but rewarding. The company culture and co-worker attitude help relieve some of the massive stress put upon the support and operations divisions. The company was undergoing a massive growth spurt during my time of employment and the growth of the sales force greatly outpaced the growth of the other divisions. This led to extreme workloads being placed on an already at-capacity support staff.

As long as the company maintains its core values and grows its operational departments in proportion to its sales it is destined for great things. Average Office.

SERVICE COMPLIMENTS OR COMPLAINTS

I was a temporary worker for a week, they welcomed me in and helped me get my job done. Since I was only there for a short time I can't speak to the office very accurately, but I was invited to a quick party they had for somebody and it wasn't a stressful place to be working. Remote positions available in every department.

Very relaxed. The culture of the company is family.
