Mac pro tower power supply

So, I exchanged the Quadro for a Quadro because I thought it might be a better long term investment, and I needed the extra power too. I'm using the external power supply to power the ATI , and using one of the two built-in internal PCIe cables to power the Quadro I'm thinking about buying another door for the Mac Pro I have a couple of questions for you, but first I want to tell you how wonderful your website is, I really enjoy following your explorations about Mac, you have one of the better perspectives regarding Apple and their products.

A couple of days ago you featured an article from a reader Mubarik regarding power hungry Video Card installations. In it he says he traded in his Quadro for a Quadro , which I would love to do, but my question is what did he use for a driver? The isn't released in a Mac version, and with Mac using EFI I wondered if he used the 's driver or if he hacked one for the Mac?

I'm using DaVinci Resolve for color correcting which needs dedicated core processing, and with Mac's limited PCI slots I was forced to come up with this solution for multiple power hungry video cards as well as a large, fast SAS array 16TB, raid5. It is more expensive but also more expansive.

It routes under the logic board along side the left side speaker which is also under the logic board incidentally. So I was trying to figure out some way to get this thing to reach, and you had to have the logic board at about a 45 degree angle, and of course the connector on the logic board was also at an odd angle, plus stuck between two big metal pieces.

Suffice to say, I had a number of choice words to offer up as my opinion on that. Two or three sections AFTER the logic board replacement in the service manual, they tell you how the microphone cable can be removed.

The microphone is just glued in place. You can just pry it up, and then the replacement procedure is a breeze. An unofficial take apart guide might have suggested that earlier. General discussion.
