Sims 3 windows to mac

Mine is a MacBook Pro without the Retina display. Finally I can play my sims 3 again! I scoured the internet looking for a way to fix it.

Thank you! I was afraid I was going to have to move all my save files to the other partition of the harddrive that I have Snow Leopard saved on, or get an old MBP and use it as my gaming computer. The instructions worked perfectly. Just installed the game via origin but it goes into full screen mode and goes black. Please please help!

Just learned the answer to my question above, after talking with an EA game advisor through chat. The license for the game and EPs is for Origin, so you can do multiple installations through the same Origin account. In other words, I can install the game on my PC laptop and my desktop i-Mac without having to purchase additional copies for the i-Mac. This widget could not be displayed.
