You won't regret the price This was my first foray into Mac and I love it. I was a bit apprehensive about the butterfly keyboard, but found myself typing almost as fast as on my Thinkpad after only 30 minutes, and now a couple weeks later I am typing faster. The screen is gorgeous, and the laptop is unbelievably fast.

As soon as I click something, it is open.

The only drawback is the battery life is not as good as Apple claimed. It was originally purported to be 10 hours, I am seeing hours more realistically. Date published: Brand new computer start having issue after 30 days.

Update Location

Per Apple it could be issue with screen or graphics card. I did try to contact your CS to see if we can return it and replace the computer but no luck. Apple wont exchange it since it was purchased from distributor and it doesn't match their inventory.

While this is only the second laptop I've ever bought, this Macbook is amazing. I still need to get used to all the commands and what not, but I'll learn them all eventually after time like everyone else. I decided to buy this base model, and I think it's sufficient enough to handle my simple tasks that I do on a day to day basis.

With all this said, I'm satisfied with my purchase, and I think future purchases will be geared towards future MacBooks as well. I finally pulled the trigger mostly because my old MBP is near unusable. Since I need a new laptop for work right away, I couldn't wait for the touchbar version but I also don't feel like I realistically get any daily usage from having a touchbar. I am also put off by review of less batter capacity and weird placing of internal components.

So I had to try out various adapters and some did not work while others did not have the miniDisplay port that I currently use. I ended up finding an adapter with Displayport not mini and USB-c for charging, with the other port used for usb-s to USB to connect the hub. I am very much entrenched within the apple ecosystem owning a multitude of Apple products, this is a great addition for me.
