Microsoft word mac 2011 default language

However this has worked for me. On new Word docs this works, as I want it to, even after the machine has been restarted. I have the same problem as everybody else listed here.

I have sent feedback to Microsoft several times but nothing ever happens. I think everybody that runs this programme has this problem but Microsoft choose to ignore it and bury their heads in the sand and pretend that it is an isolated insident instead of fixing it. As a result the spell-check keeps underlining in red words that are spelt correctly because it believes the US spelling to be correct.

Editing and Proofing

This happens just moments after I have been to reset the default back to UK English. Can anyone help? More Less.
