I used to read Archie as a kid! Mostly Veronica! MAC gets my last pennies every time with these collections. As usual, Karen you made a rather humdrum collection look stellar. I love all your effort that went into this post — photos, swatches, looks and all with a healthy dose of humour. Kudos for putting SO much together!

I have to say, the feminist in me cringes when companies promote cosmetics with a juvenile or cartoon theme hello kitty and betty boop, I am looking at you! I have to wonder since none of the Mac loving youngsters have probably heard of Archie comics, if they are aiming at the wallets of gen X. Anyway, feminist politics definitely color my opinion of collections like this, so I am glad you could help me look on the lighter side! Fantastic post!

Luv this! It seems like Mac and UB are on the same wavelength regarding dueling personalities! I must say I will probably buying bits and pieces from both collections. This is why I love cosmetics and the freedom to choose to put on cosmetics. I can be Betty one day, then be Veronica the next, or be a bit of both!

Great review!! How is the Caramel Sunday Pallet? Is it pigmented? Does the color apply smoothly? Thanks for such a fab review! Thanks for all the great pics!!! Have you compared it to any other pigments? What lipgloss goes with Betty bright? Are they easy to dupe? I noticed in a previous post that someone was looking for a great liquid eyeliner — I absolutely adore Stila waterproof liquid eyeliner. A close runner up is also Kat Von D tattoo liner. Usually MAC is really great at covering all the bases with a diverse color range. Keep up the awesome posts! I was there too!! Had to wait in line just to find out all the nice betty colors were sold out.

So sad!! I want Betty Bright sooo bad! Love em. And ps. We heard about that line. Lucky we arrived early. Yes Judes it was really cool. After all, Archie was there! Love the lipstick swatches, especially the pink ones.. It is truly a great colour, Carebear! YES Vann!
