As you open the compact you see the product with a mirror attached to it. Also, the compact has a separate opening for the puffing applicator. You can wash and reuse the applicator or get a new one. The powder does not smell of anything according to me. But, for me, it does not have any odour. I have a dog nose by the way. Taking ab out the texture it has a powder texture and feels very soft on the skin. The combination of the two is the best. My makeup has stayed put for 15 hours during the wedding which is great.

After that, I never really used it for a long time. As my skin is really dry during winters. Cut to summers where my T zone is a little oily. While at work I had a video shoot with a client, I heard their makeup head raving about this product. I went home, got this out of my hidden makeup bag and started using it.

Oh Buoy! This compact works like a magic wand. T his can be used as a powder foundation, which is great during summer. It feels really soft on the skin.

Talking about my shade, I am NC The coverage is really good, and the foundation is long wearing as well. Despite being high coverage, the foundation is builable in case you have a tan. It absorbs in the skin really easily and does not feel cakey at all. On most days apply it on the top of my sunscreen, which is a little oily. The compact powder foundation works wonders in taking away the excess oil from my skin and evening out my skin tone. This is a perfect option for the people who are too lazy to blend and apply base makeup.

Also, summers make your makeup melt. This one is melt-proof if I may say. Exchange any 6 makeup containers for a lipstick of your choice at the local MAC store or counter! I keep hearing different versions of Back 2 MAC program! But, it seems Back 2 MAC is only at the stand-alone stores! I am so damn confused, so my stuff is still lying around!

If you wish to exchange your stuff, better call your local MAC! On this note, let me share something important! A little girl was in search of her HG foundation! She tested and tried a couple of wrong shades! MAC is not everything! There are ton lot of brands in this world to explore!

Why not try others and give them a chance? If your skin tone is towards darker side, explore related brands and vice versa! Nobody is going to punish you, lovelies! S — I am not a member of anti-MAC campaign! I have no intentions to degrade any brand as such! I love some MAC products inspite of the bad experiences at the store! Unless you come out of the circle, nothing is going to pull you out! Brands make wide-spectrum shades do not mean they should make every shade under the sun!

Great review with those cute pictures in the background. Do you find that the product actually stays on for eight hours, or do you need to reapply toward the ticking of the clock? And do you use the foundation before or after the Studio Finish concealer? To add to my long list of questions lol, is the powder that comes with the foundation translucent and meant to set the makeup in the end?

I have combination skin , and somehow my T-Zone goes really oily with this foundation, even with a primer.. So, I end up wiping off the foundation and re-applying it, else it creates layers on my skin, making my makeup look obvious. I so hate to carry makeup wherever I go.. Useful review but could you please learn to use full stops instead of exclamation marks on every sentence. Other than this i love this foundation…when applied sheer this looks very natural..
