Art Text 3 makes it really straightforward for the average user to create impressive graphic content with a minimal amount of effort. Listing every feature available to manipulate your text would take forever, so just assume that nearly anything you want to do to with words, you can figure out a way to do it in Art Text 3. Amidst all the rave reviews, I have to say that unless you're just going to do some basic modifications based on the templates provided, this is probably one of the more difficult-to-use products I have encountered in nearly 25 years of Macsperience. Aside from my project-specific complaint of not being able to combine more than two layers cannot combine three text elements into a single layer , text formatting is extremely un-Mac-like you never know what size you're dealing with.

If I read the description correctly, the watermark only appears on output from the free version. If you buy a license code and register the program, watermark will disappear. The very first version was great and it just gets better. It's hard to produce something that looks bad with a little effort. Version 2 is a whole new ball-game allowing for much creative flexiblity I had hoped would come one day.

That day has arrived. Good price too. I am really happy with my upgrade to 2. The new features, including the new layers, transparency enhancements, and other features are too cool. This was a great product and price for 1. The 2. I have had a few graphical problems on my G-5 2x2ghz PPC that are being worked on now; the developer has been very responsive. I would encourage anyone to buy this, but I would be less than honest not to mention that, until the next version, there are minor problems where work in progress may be lost - after time.

Make sure you get new upgrades when available. Finish your ArtText tasks and save them as soon as possible. The new version 2.

I upgraded to it only after a few minutes of trying it. Art Text 2 has now a more intuitive interface that allows faster access to its tools and in my opinion has a quicker rendering as well. If you are a graphic designer, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.
