Mac mini fan control settings
I have read all the forums and I kind of think that the thermal paste has not been applied correctly or Apple should check on that. Thinking of reapplying the thermal paste myself since I have some experience on that, But since I'm under warranty I might take my mini to the pros.

If you think that you have a hardware problem or thermal paste issue, then you should take the iMac in for service ASAP. Have done an Apple hardware check and the mini checks out fine. I also did raise the lower threshold slider to 60 C and the upper threshold to the max 90 C. Also reset the smc, uninstalled fan control utility, and reset the smc again.
The results were the same. Since it does not go above 72 C I'll waiting and see.. Mac min Late fan speed More Less. Communities Contact Support.

My advice: I managed to replace my own broken fan on a MacBook Pro, but the internals inside more recent Macs are a great deal less friendly for home repair. If the hardware report says everything is fine with your fan, your issue is probably a software one.
