Hi, Well this could be caused by several reasons. I will give you some instructions to follow and you should try some of them and see which one fixes this problem. My first suggestion is to go back to Step 2 of this guide and try again with a different USB drive and make sure you follow its step correctly. My second suggestion is your motherboard. If yes, tell me, so I can send you instructions for it. My third suggestion, actually it's a just a note, Mac OS X cannot boot from a partition that's larger than 1 TB in size, so if you have a 2 TB hard drive, you will have to partition it.
