How to Convert PDF to Text on Mac
Improved the quality of output documents. The app converted a 33 page play in PDF format to a text document in about one second!
It does not retain fonts and styles but it DID retain the correct play layout so changing fonts will be a snap. The app also does not retain graphics, but for my purposes—occasionally converting PDF documents to text documents without bells and whistles—this is a find!
I tried a couple of pdf to text converters from the app store. However, in many cases when you need to do more than that. For example, to fix a typo in an existing text or compress the size of your PDF before you send it by email.
